LIHEAP Registration for Seniors at Dorr Township
09/23/2021Dorr Township will begin offering its senior residents the opportunity to apply for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. LIHEAP is a state and federally funded energy assistance program. The program is designed to assist eligible low-income households pay for winter energy services. LIHEAP will provide a one-time benefit toward utility bills – electric, gas or propane. At this time, Dorr Township is only assisting senior citizens with their applications. If you are not a senior citizen and need assistance with your utility bills, please call the McHenry County Housing Authority at (815) 338-7752 or sign up online for an appointment at McHenry County Housing Authority.
